The period of introductory in-house practical training for the first-year students of “Interpreter-Translator” school of PUA is over.
For two months our students have been working as secretary-assistants in different departments of PUA.
Our students are sharing their impressions about the training, reporting what skills and knowledge have been acquired.
Kovalevskiy Vlad: My training was in the Admission Committee, I got acquainted with the way it operates and had a chance to develop my skills of writing and editing documents, I have significantly developed my typing skill.
Lozanskaya Alyona: During the practical training I got to know the activity of the Career Planning laboratory. My responsibility was to collect information about vacancies and internships that are provided to students and graduates by big companies. I had an opportunity to attend a very informative webinar on job hunting hosted by Kateryna Bannikova. This valuable experience is sure to help me in my own career planning.
Gleb Rublyov: During my practical training I worked in the Centre of Scientific and Humanitarian Information, I did a lot of computer work, typing, editing and translation. I find my experience of working in the repository very interesting.
