The experiment on grant-based state support for students in Ukraine is gaining momentum, and People’s Ukrainian Academy is one of its participants.
On July 18, 2024 a resolution was approved to implement an experimental project based on the “Money Follows the Student” principle. Thanks to this initiative, applicants who scored 150/170 points (depending on their major) on the National Multi-Subject Test (NMT) in at least two subjects will receive an annual grant of 15,000/25,000 UAH from the state budget for their education.
This approach makes university selection more deliberate, focusing not only on state-funded spots but also on the content and quality of education, which is a feature of many private universities today. As a result, students have the opportunity to focus on engaging educational projects, internships, exchange programs, and more.
This year, 11% of our university’s incoming bachelor’s students are eligible to receive such grants. Congratulations to them!
However, the admissions campaign continues until October 31, and we hope to see more students joining this cohort!
